I have a 2006 milan and love it! One question though, why the hell would you post a video on youtube of your mamas car? Its one thing if you have one (like me), but its another to use someone elses car. Why dont I make a video showing off my grandmas buick?
The original tires on the 06 Milan/Fusions were shit, this Milan's tires were worn out within 1 year and 16,000 miles. So bad the car was unsafe to drive. We put new tires on and now almost 2 years later with 30,000 miles on the tires there still in great shape.
they were worn out by November 07 around 24,000 miles, we had to go 50 miles on an icy freeway with those terrible tires, the grills werent very durable either my stepdad accidentally slamed into a gate. the mercury emblem fell off.
Get the Milan, they're much newer chassis design, better interior, and higher reliability are better than the Grand Prix. The Grand Prix is old in terms of design, the Milan is newer, more solid, better built, and I love mine! Go with the Milan!
Right now it only comes down to if I want sporty or if I want luxury. In general I've heard better things about the Grand Prix, and I like the exterior if it more than the Milan...but the Milan's interior is making it hard to choose between the two.
If you get the Grand Prix you'll definitely be putting more money into it for repairs & such and the gas mileage is not that great for GP's compared to the Milan. Personally if I had to choose between those two it would be the Milan for interior comfort, decent gas mileage, good reliability, and better overall quality.
@gusherb94 depends on the year and model as far as the gas mileage goes, i have acheived 33-40 mpg in mine and have a video on here to prove it. i have the supercharged model too, granted though its not the most... comfortable cause i have the gtp model, so it rides stiff and handles stiff but then again its a sport sedan. plus mines a 2000 from the 1997-2003 body style back when the interiors werent made so cheap and plasticy like the new ones, i have a real leather wrapped dash for example
The only Chrysler product we had that I really liked was our 97 Dodge Stratus, that car was almost like a family member to us, It even had a name! "Sarah the Stratus" It never had any breakdowns and was very reliable up until it's end. That was a 2.0 liter 4cyl with stickshift. Ahhh good memories.
This car has had ZERO mechanical problems or even hiccups over the three years we've had it, the only issues it's had were just small cosmetic things such as the taillight lenses cracked out of nowhere and were replaced under warranty, the clock had to be replaced cuz the light bulb in it burned out, fixed under warranty also. And the lumbar control broke, once again under warranty.
Not a "Ford person"...did you tell her she must like it because its all a Mazda 6 underneath? lol Mazda engine, trans, chassis...and I can totally relate to "shitty" and "Chrysler" after my dad's 00 Ram disaster...
I love this Milan too, the lease on this car ends in October so my mom will be getting another one, a 2010 model and those are amazing! power wise, even the four cylinder!
Awesome! Can't wait for your walk around of the 2010! I just sat in a 2010 Fusion Sport, its a great car! Glad to see it finally got the 3.5 V6. Too bad its not avalible on the Milan for 2010...
because I'm not a fag like you. Ill show of my own shit, not my mommas or my grandmamas shit

In November 2006 Consumer Reports ranked the Milan among the most reliable family cars available in the U.S.

@Restarea11019V that's just the camera doing that.

Most newer cars limit the number of revs while in park or neutral. The '97 Sable I have does that as well.

my stepdad used to have one of these, his was black, the tires werent the best on ice though. i like milans and fusions better with the 5 speed.

Same with the factory tires on our 1997 Sable. They were worn out at 26K miles. Replaced with GoodYears that lasted another 50K+.

@Davidsfarmrules why not the 6speed?
