Our dog Libby is almost identical to LeeLoo except we think she has German Shepherd in her instead of Hound...she's a little skinnier than LeeLoo (always 39 or 40 pounds when we take her to the vet...for 7 years now) but their mannerisms are the same! Adorable dogs!

Hey are both good babies, and Leeloo is an angel. I see what's going on here: an animal hustle. Here's how it works. The bird you hear in the background is the shot-caller, the dalmation does the dirt, and Leeloo takes the heat. Meanwhile, the dalmation pops up to get hugs and kisses when Leeloo gets them while the bird gets mad because he is not getting anything!:) They should have their own show: animal capers.

@pattijor Oh yes she does. You just don'w know how smart she is. She is the type of dog that you can give commands to without hand motions, or any inflections in your voice, and she exactly what you tell her.

She doesn't look any happier and is showng signs of stress: yawning, ears back, tongue flicks, looking away.
I'm sure you love her and take great care of her, I'm just saying that her behavior indicates that she is uncomfortable and acting submissive.
