impressive although that does go without saying.. im thinking about taking up the sax but not sure yet, at the minute im just playing guitar, but blues on guitar and blues on sax can be so different on a musical and emotional level... how hard is the sax (is it as complex as a guitar solo can be with different scales or more simple like chords)... anyone?

I've played guitar on/off for the last 5 years and just started learning sax and I think it might be a little easier to start than guitar, actually.

If you've learned any theory (reading notes, scales, chords, etc.) it's all going to help when starting the saxophone. And I find that I can rather easily block things out with my ears just as I did with the guitar, nothing too complex still.

I've only played for few weeks but I'm loving every second of it.

I just started on the alto sax a few weeks ago (doing pretty good but having trouble geting the sound out on every notes) I know where I want to bring the sound but it's not happening right now. I guess it'll come with time. Where do you get backup music , I,ve been looking everywhere to get jam along songs(mostly blues cause it's easier for me to prctice scales) .
