  • Wow exactly that video is awesome becasue i do it!

  • Too much blood. The makeup looks too dark. If you would have just covered it with an orange and filled the holes with red and a small touch of blood (burns don't look that bloody) THEN it would have looked like Freddy Krueger. Other than that, the texture is great.

  • This is weird. I mean, my brother sustained third degree burns over 20% of his body, so seeing someone trying to look disfigured is just kinda...odd.

  • @Aresolar690 same here. I got burned all over my legs when I was 2. Why would you want to look injured when you're one of the many lucky persons who don't have to carry this burden?

  • @emmaxmushroom it's not about trying to look injured for some kind for thrill, it's either for a halloween costume, or for film/theatre or something else.

  • @cr4374 I still hope you'll understand it may hurt people.

  • we love acting and performing ocean we love school and the university activities ocean the girl from the holy land says ocean we don't have bad scores and we don't want you to have bad scores sail away golden girl says sail away we have student council honors and we want you to have student council honors and we want you to have them too she says we have the golden globe and we want kings of cowan to have one too luck o the irish kings of cowan

  • thats so fake omg omg omg omg omg omg omg omg rofl omg

  • @nickshea1250 i know right

  • I agree with daughterMYslaughter. the dark red usage was way over done. and how it goes from "burn" to actual skin it just looks like too much of a leap i guess. id personally use a darker color from the latex to the actual skin.

  • fake?

  • just looks like 90 year old man jizzed all over your face

  • Welcome to Freddy's world, bitch!

  • looks like a funnel cake on the side of you face lol

  • looks like super jizzums on the side of his face...

  • Overdid it on the gel blood. Looked like someone slapped a slice of pizza on his face.

  • @daughterMYslaughter or a maxi pad =O

  • @daughterMYslaughter agreed completely

  • it's not blended...i can still see thats its fake..you can see the endes

  • well if you ever do it you can do it through this tutorial and then find a way to make the ends invisible or unseen

  • overdone the makeup

  • Can you use acrylic paint instead of the fake blood?

  • that's sweeet(:

  • he is sooo beautiful! I love him.

    Frank

  • Would this still have thee same affect on a black person with dark skin. I want to do this but I don't want it to look fake

  • yup just add some colorant to off set the color of your skintone and the scars.

remember scar are alawars lighter the you normal skin tone. hope this helps

  • LOL good question

  • yeah just color the scar/ scab with face paint or just use a bunch of blood, so it wont look like a white glob.

  • Where do you buy that at? I am going to be in a zombie movie and I want to use that for the shoot.

  • dude u can freddy kruger

  • That's cool looking but they really should have had the camera on a tripod, and the light source pointing at the burn, not on the other side of his head.

  • Awesome! I look forward to your future Special FX makeup demonstrations. :D Thanks for sharing. :D

  • not really freddy but good fresh burn freddy more happened years ago burn

  • Looks lyk a tiger x]

  • is it possible to use a torn up muscle effect like this on the whole face and then have a realistic mask replica of your normal face over it? i'm looking to have an effect in a band performance where it seems like i tear my face off in the middle of a song.

  • wow

  • You should have done the entire right side of his face and done Two-Face. That would look seriously awesome!

  • How exactly would you remove that?

  • Hot shower dissolves the gelatin and it will fall off. then use a facial cleanser to get the makup that got on the skin off.

  • YANK

  • @ico3232 neail polisremover

  • @ico3232 neail polisremover or hot water

  • @ico3232 in the vid says how dude LOL

  • Yes but it will try out. The latex we put over the top stops that but latex if it get on the hair itself will NEVER come out.

You can put the gelatin on covering the hair completely, use the latex avoiding any edges where it may come in contact with hair. The gelatin will dry up on any edge not covered and will start pulling the hair if worn all day.

  • For example: I want to cover an eyebrow.

  • Depends what king of liquid latex is being used. If it's a low end formula like Liquid Dipping Latex, then that could be a problem. But then again, you can buy all the Charles Fox materials for serious money for a small amount - or experiment with industrial pattern skills and elaborate and get a lot more or double for the same price.

  • @hauntyourhome It's not like your hair grows so it will be easy to cut out or anything nope.

  • Can you put the gelatin over hair?

  • 1:18 looks like leaches lol

  • did you see my vid of it? it shure did come out really well

    Thanks a bunch!

    HJDtv

  • I didn't think it would turn out that good, wow.

  • its just like freddy from nightmare on elm street

  • Thats sweet :D

  • If you are looking to do this, youre gonna need knox unfalvered gelitin. You can pick this up at any grocery store in your area. I however reccomend that you do the thick blood/fresh scab after the makeup step. If you are looking for a completely bloody look, add food coloring to the mix before the water. I shave my head and can do the whole thing for under $20

  • COol! Okay how much does this stuff cost, where would you get it, and what kind of brands would you suggest? I wanted to do Two-Face from The Dark Knight, but I'm on a limited budget as I will be going to college. Help or input will be appreciated. Thanks.

  • that's sweet!

  • ouch!!!!!!

  • ouch.....from the he finished wiht the blood it looked like as there were holes in his skin

  • i think he should of done some on the forehead aswell, yaknow connecting the side burn with the fore head :P

  • Freddy Krueger?.....lol

  • haha hey thats actually could be used for freddy kreuger....all you'd need was a pontier nose

  • one can also use oatmeal

  • The reason this works better than oatmeal is that the gelatin has a much higher ability to stick for a long time. Also the coating of Liquid latex over the top prevents the gelatin from hardening and gives it a real fleshy feel that is tough enough to handle the makeup application stage. Oatmeal has too high a water content to get the firmness for much makeup overcoat. A thin coating of oatmeal however could create a good texture in a makeup application for a look of peeling skin.

  • Hey guys thanks for the video I bought the thing for the first time and it made it really easy to put on and I also won most scary at my High School but you guys need to WARN PEOPLE about taking it off when I was taking it off with warm water and Alcohol it pulled some of my skin off and the alcohol burned me also it gets really itchy after 10hrs of use. If you can stand it its worth it for the realistic look but it hurts when taking off lol

  • It should not be so hard to take off. The Burn/Scar which is made of Gelatin is the only thing that is really touching the skin. Lots of warm/hot water should used to dissolve the burn/scar. You would not peel or pull since it dissolves. The latex on the top will not dissolve. According to the latex instructions. Latex should not come in contact with hair since that will pull the hair out. Normally latex peels off easily.

  • Alcohol would ONLY be used if Spirit Gum is used which is totally unnecessary. Makeup is removed with soap and water so no alcohol should have been used.

  • yea I also had a scar thing is used spirit gum on and I mixed it with the powder..lol that things smelled so bad, i almost through up... but it is a great product perhaps I must have token it off wrong I pulled at it when taking a hot shower and running the water on my face i had so much fake blood...well thanks for the video it helped

  • Thank you so much. I just recently purchased a burn & scar kit, but the directions weren't clear, and this is going to be my first time applying this type of make-up. I appreciate the clear directions and visual aid.

  • Very awesome look. In all my years of halloween party/haunt organizing i've stayed away from prosphetics cause i didn't think you could really get it to look good but your vids have inspired me. Thanks guys.

  • looks burnd
