  • Aaron Porter is a monumental wanker.

  • Porter pledged 'to officially support any staff taking further industrial action on cuts in the education sector' - We shall just have to wait and see on this one. Probably best if he doesn't piss off the UCU or the NUT too though...

  • Porter pledged 'to call a national day of action on the day of the parliamentary vote on tuition fees' FAILED

  • Porter pledged 'to organise financial, legal & political aid for all current and future occupations' FAILED

  • Porter pledged 'to call immediately for a new wave of occupations as a legitimate form of protest against fees and cuts' FAILED

  • Porter pledged 'To publicly support all student occupations- on the frontpage of the NUS website and all available media' FAILED

  • AARON, YOU DONT REPRESENT ME YOU CUNT, WE SEE YOU FOR WHAT YOU REALLY ARE , A FUKKIN LITTLE WANKSTAIN WANTING TO GET INTO POLITICS.

    GO FUCK YOURSELF

  • The guy's a complete WANKSHAFT. An opportunist, a fully blown careerist. He's a nob who thinks he represents the voice of ALL students.

Well get this Porter - you don't! Get some new glasses you speccy twat and realise that some of us don't agree with your attention seeking agenda. I don't want the taxpayer paying for university education upon which most will not even go to university. People like Porter can burn and dig deep once the government passes through the tuition fees policy. Wankers!

  • I cannot feel in any way impressed by this lacklustre performance. The standard method for controlling such organisations is to invite young, upcoming characters to a friendly, non threatening meeting with an influential figure. Once there the guests are plied with the finest alcohol. The process of identifying those most open to corruption begins and you can guess the rest. You would be better of TROTTING in groups. Strengthening your heart, lungs, legs and group identity. Avoid negativity.

  • Clearly he's fazed by the way the movement has grown beyond what NUS would like. This is an attempt to re-assert the control of the apparat. Wonder who he's been talking too?

  • Damn right, about time too

  • Quite right from Aaron Porter, and not a moment too soon. Just one question - what's with all this wavey hand business?

  • @Terraxos

Hey Terraxos, in order to save time at our meetings when people agree with a point made people wave their hands up, if they disagree they wave their hands down. It beats the childish cheering and jeering of the commons.

  • @ucloccupation its good to see that the past 20 years of activism training has left us with these skills to be brought out at this time. While 'real' politics has been bereft of any life, real politics has been carried out by activists. Time to step it up.

  • @ucloccupation So, for this rabble of yours to disrupt the lawful operations of the university that admitted you is 'perfectly legitimate', but for our elected representatives to engage in robust debate with one another is 'childish'? Wow, you really do live in bizarro world.

  • Aaron Porter is a gutless shite that is more concerned with uh-huring, and a spot in the Labour Party than the students' concerns. This u-turn is only prompted by the fact that NUS have been left pissing in the wind. What a total wanker.

  • At last - united we must be to win!

  • @lloydrm86 Yoda speaks

  • Concrete proof we're winning this battle!
