How stupid is this. This is not hacking. Phones for years and years and years phone companies had a set number you can punch in to test the phone. What it did was it ran a basic line test and depending on the tones you got when it rang back it would tell if your line was within specs.The test have now been superseded by a different system....not a hack, just a stupid video of a phone spec test.

what you do is get money, and call your cell phone, and then save the number in your cell and then you can call whenever you want and actually talk to the people who answer (cuz people are stupid enough too answer) and creep them out. I do it at school and its funny to see people flip out.

if you call toll free 1-800-HI-WALLY it will tell you the line is disconnected and then you can make a free call, as the 800 line will auto hang up and return to dial tone and the DTMF (dialing sound) can be sent.

Hi never tryed that hack above but if you live in the UK then you should know about BT payphones if so, pick up the phone and press: 175 and hang up should say: most calls or calls are barried then wait a few seconds it will not stop ringing does work done it so many times! have fun.

We used to do this in the 80s. Im surprised it still works. But, the way I remember we would dial the number of the pay phone, (XXX-XXXX) then click the hang-up lever 3 or four times before hanging-up the handset. This video is such a flashback to my absolutely wasted youth.
