"Finney Golf" on facebook. you have a very nice swing but there are some setup issues. for one your weight is to far into you heels. along with that your front foot is a lil to open. this combinatination can do a few things but judging by your video i'm gonna say you normally miss it with a hook or a stright block right. rarely fade or pull the ball. the setup promotes this because it promotes a swing that is too flat. i can talk to you more about it on my FB page.

No one has a perfect swing. If Jim Furyk uploaded his swing on here and know one heard of him they would give him the biggest abuse ever and Westwood because of his head movement. But there the best players in the world, basically what i'm saying is work with what you have got.

shoulder plane is a little too flat at the top of the swing for a one planer, you need to get your head over the ball and your weight on your toes a bit more. other than that pretty nice

Don't listen to anyone on here. There are 9 positions in the golf swing, and you take advantage of all of them. At P2-P3 (Transition from shaft parallel to ground - Left arm parallel to ground) you're a bit inside, but I would not change it because you hit the slot on the way down. The camera angle is a little off, but it seems like your club exits through your left bicep after impact, which is great. The only small change I would suggest would be moving your elbow to position 2 (slightly bent)

i agree with LMaster as well. my golf pro always tells me that there is not one swing in the world of golf that is exactly like the other, so it doesn't matter what people are saying about your swing. don't fix what isn't broken. the only thing i can think of is just to stand a little taller because it allows you to get more distance and still maintains your accuracy. keep it up though. 2 handicap is really good. i wish i was there.

Good swing, but a little over the top and slappy. To fix it, start your downswing with your hips and knees firning towards the target. Also I would reccomend keeping your arms moving a little more with the body. This will take away the slappy hit and improve contact.

i am entering the european tour next year and i can tell you that your set up is fine. the reason Hodgesba09 says your feet are aiming right of target is becaue of camera angle. get it all the time in england when making coaching vids. i am concerned with the title of the clip " my driver swing". do you have a different swing with irons and wedges or do you just mean your swing with your driver?. other than that you have some potential

Handicaps do not work off COURSE PAR they work off COURSE RATING. Therefore, most courses on tour have a COURSE RATING (not par) of 76-78 so when a pro averages 72 he is between a +4 - +6. So if this kid played those same courses and shot 76-78 he would be scratch.

I think Tiger's a +8 apparetently. And i think anybody with a handicap of 0 or lower is considered to be a scratch. A 1 handicap isnt a scratch

i hope you're joking. There is no PGA Tour player that has over a +4 handicap. These guys consistently shoot under par on courses where the ratings are like 76-77 or higher. Yea if you are a 2 handicap you probably dont miss very many shots. Its more about the short game and game mangement. Try working on eliminating one side of the golf course with different shaped shots and be more specific with your targets in order to not let the round get away from you in bad situations.

Good swing, but a little over the top and slappy. To fix it, start your downswing with your hips and knees firning towards the target. Also I would reccomend keeping your arms moving a little more with the body. This will take away the slappy hit and improve contact.

If you saw the swing of someone like a Jim Furyk or JB Holmes, or god forbid Tommey Gainey you would think they were maybe a 10 handicap at best.

i am entering the european tour next year and i can tell you that your set up is fine. the reason Hodgesba09 says your feet are aiming right of target is becaue of camera angle. get it all the time in england when making coaching vids. i am concerned with the title of the clip " my driver swing". do you have a different swing with irons and wedges or do you just mean your swing with your driver?. other than that you have some potential

Lol mxlevi456, u probably shouldnt comment if you dont know what your talking about. There is no player on tour that has a 2 handicap. Handicaps do not work off COURSE PAR they work off COURSE RATING. Therefore, most courses on tour have a COURSE RATING (not par) of 76-78 so when a pro averages 72 he is between a +4 - +6. So if this kid played those same courses and shot 76-78 he would be scratch.

wowzers. you might be one of the dumbest people i have ever met. The COURSE RATING isn't the par on the course, it's what a fucking scratch player will shoot if they play that course. Most course on Tour are par 70,71,72. The RATING at these courses is 76-78, meaning if you averagely shoot underpar (like a tour pro) your handicap will be +5,6 or 7 ish. I think Tiger's a +8 apparetently. And i think anybody with a handicap of 0 or lower is considered to be a scratch. A 1 handicap isnt a scratch

Sorry to but in here, but why don't you read the rules of golf before you start posting on youtube(No offence) it will save a lot of embarrassment.Scratch is 0 this is the handicap all pro's play off only amateurs can have a + handicap, in relation to course ratings all courses are rated for their SSS Standard Scratch Score that is to say that.....the score the regulatory bodies USPGA/R&A would expect a scratch golfer to achieve on any given course.Hope this helps

I can score mid 70s on my local par 73 course but im nowhere near that on most any other course. Im low to mid 80s almost any other course. For alot of city courses, i dont think a handicap is accurate.

i hope you're joking. There is no PGA Tour player that has over a +4 handicap. These guys consistently shoot under par on courses where the ratings are like 76-77 or higher. And this is in competition, im sure at their home course the caps are even lower. I'd say this kid has maybe even less than a 2.

Tour players don't even have handicaps they all enter off of scratch and see who scores the lowest but you can turn professional with a handicap of 4 or less but there is no point for most players above scratch.
Yes i do play off two obviously not every single round but thats golf. I played loads of comps during the summer which is why i have been cut so low.

i dont understand the rating system over in the US but it seems similar to standard scratch which is used in the UK, and if england is anything to go by then every course on tour would be at least 75, maybe some like bethpage would be 79ish

@mxlevi456 wat about tpc stadium in palm sprigs(pga west, tpc stadium course, palm springs) this course has a rating of 76.1 this is where pga final stage q school is held every other year. in fact there are golf courses with a high'r rating of 75 in the US. so this brings us back to how rumors are spread.

Yea if you are a 2 handicap you probably dont miss very many shots. Its more about the short game and game mangement. Try working on eliminating one side of the golf course with different shaped shots and be more specific with your targets in order to not let the round get away from you in bad situations.
