Crazy thing about 04/05....THE SUNS WERE THE YOUNGEST TEAM IN THE LEAGUE.That was maybe my favorite Suns team because they basically came out of nowhere.The media was sleeping on the Suns young talent..Joe Johnson..Amare..Matrix..Barbos­a.After the signed a "middle of the pack" free agent pg(Nash), the sports media was questioning whether they'd even make the playoffs or not.Suns came out and killed everybody.They just ran teams off the court with speed & athleticism...and deadly 3 pt shooting

The lose of Joe Johnson left the suns with nash, matrix and amare, still a potential championship combo it you put the right role players in there. But when the suns traded Matrix for the slow and old, post up style Shaq Oneal, thats when I began to wonder what the hell was going on. Today, the 2010 suns have steve nash and 7 small forwards. Trade Nash back to D'antoni, and amare with the knicks.

This team was SO FILTHY. We started the year out 31-4, and really couldve been more like 33-2. Just game out of the gates and kicked the rest of the league in the nuts.

Definately the most entertaining Suns team to watch, probably ever (even more than the 93 Finals team I think).

I think one of the reasons the Suns will never go up to championship level is because they won't stop trading away their bench.

Virtually none of the bench from 05-06 are still on the team

Quentin, House, Joe Johnson (even though that was his choice) Thomas (likewise) etc. They really have to keep a squad together longer than a season if they're going to win.
