I wonder how the Japanese would like Mass Effect 2 for the ps3 around January 18th? God, if they don't release Mass Effect 2 or Mass Effect 3 in Japan, they would be missing out on this epic science fiction action adventure. If they translated Splintercell Conviction into Japanese dubbing, they should definitely do that for the third of Mass Effect. Can't wait for the game myself, too long until December, 2011.

@goseaanz : Actually Mass Effect 2 is coming out in Japan in January the same time the PS3 version is coming out in US and Europe. But the 360 and PC version are coming out in Japan, I don't know about the PS3 version coming out in Japan. I googled if there's anything about the PS3 coming out in Japan. I doubt they'll dub the second game just like how the first one was not dubbed. If the PS3 version come out in Japan, I know it'll outsell both PC and 360 version. The first one sold so well.

@yourfatherize: Why do you care? ME 2 is on PS3 next month and it will come out in Japan at some point. I didn't know about Mass Effect 2 coming to Japan until looking at some article (Kotaku didn't even report on this), and I hope the PS3 version will go to Japan also, I would love the PS3 version to be release in Japan one week after the 360 version. Also of all the western game that sold well on 2 console, most western game on PS3 sell better.

I think only subtitles. I saw other trailers on the Japanese Xbox Marketplace and they were in English with Japanese subtitles.

Too bad. But I think it would make the game too expensive to convert for the Japanese market. It's not worth the money because it will probably not sell that extreme well over there unfortunately.

Yeah, but it would have been intresting to see what it sounds like in Japanese just like Halo 3 and Gears of War and I thought that voice rock in Japanese. But yeah subtitles would work for them. The good news is that when it came out in Japan, that thing was #3 top selling software in Japan for a week.
