That's my mate in the Williams hehehe, his suspension was about as useful as a bucket of jelly. He pushes hard, so credit where credits due.

The rallye is a 16v gti swap with breathing mods, stripped etc

If thats a williams why the hell did he swap the rear suspension, for the ones on his mums 1.2 rn. no chance ive got one and they are so planted its untrue

The williams is pushed beyond it´s limits. The standard williams torsion bars aren´t that stiff. They were designed for (fast)road use, not racing. The torsion bars can be replaced with stiffer ones from renault sport. The cup verison should be stiffer, can´t find the specs at the moment though.
