how is someone going to humble when he trys to dress his best for church like best best with diamonds gold suit thats like 500 dollars.jesus didnt even have anywhere to sleep and were here complaining that our clothes are ugly or that we need perfume or whatever jesus didnt care so why should we we need to praise god in spirit and truth
jesus will take your praise however you are and I think it would be even better if a homeles person repents and is dancing screaming jumping before the lord jesus when he prayed and talked with the father he didnt dress nice just to pray or praise the father jesus is HUMBLE and so should we.

This song is so powerful My church played it this Friday night. I had been rebelling from God for awhile and i was struggling to come back but this song just broke me down and God baptized me in the holy spirit! Powerful song! i pray God blesses ur church greatly

I do not agree with this.. If a homeless person were to come into a church and start to worship the lord with the clothes that he has.. does that mean God would accept his worship less ? No It does not. That shows that the Homeless person was HUMBLE BEFORE THE LORD. Yes it is always best to present yourself nicely in front of God. But the way you dress has no affect on the way God loves you. He loves you no matter how you look or what you are going through.. that is what makes him so great !

didnt Jesus come to the leper and the poor despite their appearance he hated the beautifully clad pharases its so offsetting seein christians come out of church all dressed up i mean its not real unless they dress like that everyday or something it makes us look fake its ok to dress up but its also okay to not its all about our hearts and i wish there wasnt so much focus on attire
i luv this song. my daughter used to sing it at her church.i would like to make a comment to that person who said this youth band did not have aprropriate attire.God does not see your outer appearance the way people do.He sees our hearts. what if a homeless person wanted to come up to the altar and sing? you wouldn't let him praise God because he wasn't dressed properly? please, don't judge others especially God's children. these teens are worshipping Jesus and that's all that should matter.

hi A4H..just a comment..your back up praise and worship singers should be in a modest attire.especially you're in front or what we call the ALTAR.you should be in a ministerial attire..coz,its not really good to see them dressed like that way when leading praise and worship songs..i'm also a song leader and i see to it that we are all in ministerial attire right on front.just an open rebuke..God bless A4H,more power..
Just curious what do you consider "ministerial attire"? I don't think that jeans are wrong. Not unless it is a conscious decision to disobey God or leadership. If it is just so they are comfortable, there should be no problem. God excepts all kinds of people, not just religious ones who claim to do all things right.
I totally agree with you Godsgirl! I too am a worship leader (in the pentecostal arena.) We can be known for "traditions." However, I feel that if we are going to reach the youth of today, we cannot come at them "high an mighty." Just as God meets us where we are at and woos us unto him, I feel that we must also appeal to our generation. I lead our Sunday morning worship wearing "stressed" jeans, and a nice button-down shirt untucked of course.) Great statement concerning the conscious decision!
