I would love to devote my life to saving pit bulls. I watch all these pit bull rescue videos from down here in Australia and feel helpless because I'm so far away. We don't have that problem here because the breed is almost extinct here, banned almost everywhere. People are so unfamiliar with pit bulls here, they always ask what breed my dog is. I have to lie of course. Wish I could be there to help.

Seven years ago my husband (an attorney) and I HATED pit bulls & pit mixes because of the negative things we'd heard about them...until the cold night an abandoned pup came into our lives. Today we have a pit and 2 pit mixes and we're grateful we finally discovered, for ourselves, what outstanding, loving companions these dogs (in responsible hands!) are. Thank you trying to educate ignorant people (like I was) what great dogs these are.

I just spoke with a gentleman on the phone from their tattoo parlor and let me tell you right NOW THEY ARE THIS GREAT, HE WAS VERY NICE; I felt bad because I've looked to buy this video they made in Blockbuster, walmart, all the normal places and couldn't so I called them knowing they're very busy people and he still took time to talk about my dog I rescued and I looked at their artwork and I have 2 small tattoos on my ankles and I so wish I'd have had them done there! It's worth the trip :)

The world needs more people like you. I love my rescue dog Kimmie. She is my best friend. I was getting a bit disillusioned about people until I saw your video. It's a really great thing that you are doing. Too many people think they love dogs but they are only really thinking of their own needs. If they really cared they would be doing what you are doing. I am going to the rescue centre tomorrow with some dog food etc and I'm going to ask them about fostering another dog whilst I'm out of work.

I rescued a pitbull puppy.. my friend and i took her in - previous owners were going to let loose in the streets. it was such an ordeal but we found some1 2 adopt her. She was sucha sweetheart... im so happy she found a home & somebody that loves her has her.

God Bless You for doing so much to save the pitbulls! We have a staffordshire terrier that we rescued off a street corner. We love her to death, best dog we have ever owned.

I just wish we could stop people from breeding these dogs for a profit and that way maybe we could actually be making some headway as far as rescuing all of the abandoned and abused ones that are out there. Hope you keep up the good work!

I love anyone who saves shelter/rescue dogs from death. A rotweiller X near me was put to sleep in a rescue center because they couldnt find him a home and he was in there nearly all his life. I knew this dog and i cried to hear he had gone.

Since he was put to sleep i have been thinking what i could do to help because i have no more room in my house for dogs. I help train the dogs in rescue but i want to do more. You guys totally inspire me. I want to do what you have done.

You are wonderful! 5 weeks ago I found an emaciated bull terrier mix, still lactating, timid, crawling toward me wagging. I am fostering her for Stray Rescue in St. Louis and have fallen in love with her. She is the sweetest, gentlest dog; my 2 Springers are bossy, yet she never even shows any aggression. She loves all dogs and people. I am now a pit bull convert and applaud all who work to help this breed. My struggle is that if I keep her, I won't be able to foster other deserving dogs.

People like you are heroes! You have my full and total respect. I had two dogs I rescued and found good homes for. Both were left at a kill shelter and I adopted and took home. One was a Lab Shepard mix and the other was a Husky mix. Both I'm happy to report are with families and well loved. My tom cat was a stray that I rescued and nursed back to health and my little lady was a cat I picked up at a breeder. She spent her whole life in a cage. Keep it up guys. You make a difference.
