OK for all you purist, this absolutely not Hasapiko/Sirtaki dancing in its true sense. This is ballroom dancing with a tiny bit of Hasapiko/Sirtaki added for the Zorba/Greek music/dance routine. This was a ballroom competition with these dancers representing Greece. Give it a break. If anyone don't like it then go watch a real Hasapiko/Sirtaki dance. There's lots of them on YT. Better yet go watch a Zeibekiko, I like it better.

@rosst210131 You have to be more than stupid.... Brainless is more possible... A) I am Greek for your information. AND No1 dance is zeimpekiko craphead, and B) I have been dancing folklrore dances for 15 years and this is not folklore dancing! This is not even close to what syrtaki is...

A) Zeimpekiko = Zeus Bread for your information so its more old tha zeybek the turkey stuff you are talking about.That's missunderstood by many people. But if you search it you ll see that zeimpekiko = zeus mpekos (bread)

I am not from Greece, but I love this song. I hate those stupids that destroy songs that are part of the culture of a country. Some dancers in the USA like to americanize music from all over the world. That is just ridiculous.

This was the first EDC, Held in London on 1 September 2007. Finaland won it. Greece was 13. Not good ranking!
