  • @rawanoification If you do the exercise daily, you will see improvements in a month, but of course if you keep it up, improvements will continue to come. Also, don't overtrain. If you find your legs getting too sore, take a day or two off to allow them to recover and rejuvinate.

  • @musiq1001 If you are doing it at a moderate intensity (mild burn in the thigh muscles) you can do it daily. If you are working it more intensely (super burn in the thigh muscles) do it every other day. Good Luck!

  • You'll feel the results within 2 weeks (stronger legs and knees) and see results in 4 weeks but only if you eat right. You see a difference if you're doing both exercise and good nutrition habits.

  • How is the horse stance different from the plies squat?

  • @prynkya The horse and plie squat are very similar if not identical, but the horse implies more lateral and rotational movement as in the martial arts where the plie is more stationary up and down motion. Thanks for the interesting question.

  • That's not a horse stance :p. At least, not how I have been told to do it in my Taekwondo class. In the horse stance the toes are facing forward, not outward, and the pressure is applied differently.

  • @puppygirle This exercise is great for everyone including teens. Do it once a day for 3 sets of about a minute or until your thighs are burning. As you get stronger, do it for longer.

  • I've been doing kung Fu for the past year, this is a common exercise. Horse Stance has definitely toned my legs, and as funny as this video may be, it really works people!

  • @TheEricsnightmare It's just as effective for the guys. In fact, if you do maartial arts, particularly kung fu, this is a standard exercise.

  • @crfashion of course... i am a physiotherapist and these are a kind of isometric exercises that can firm up not only the butts but also your core (if you hold your abdominis and your pelvic floor thight)!

  • Try jumping ropes, it doesnt only affect you thighs and butt, it affects every muscle in the body. 10 minutes of jumping ropes is like 30 minutes on the treadmill. And it does work!

  • Losing weight is the way to go. Its  impossible to target a particular area for fat loss. You will need to do cardio in general, and cut calories.

  • does this workout make your butt bigger? because thats what i want.! i dont understand why people want to slim their lower body having big thighs and an a bigger gluteus makes you stand out more because of the fact your curveyy.

  • This exercise will create muscular shape in the buttocks muscle. I wouldn't say it will make your butt big, but it will make it more shapely and curvy which sounds like your goal. Good luck!

  • these work. pretty much all of these butt and thigh tightening exercise videos are the same if you watch them. they are just positioned a little differently. just do something like one of these, whatever you feel most comfortable with. the hugging a tree thing is new to me though, so this is a good vid.
