  • Wow, This is amazing !

  • I wasn't diagnosed with schizophrenia. I was afraid if I told people about hearing voices I would be institutionalized. Which I was institutionalized once after an episode, but denied everything so I could get out. All I know is that when I changed my diet an added bonus was that the voices went away. Certain foods will bring the voices back within hours of eating them..such as cooked fats and gluten

  • thank you everyone! you can find me on facebook as Victoria Everett

  • This is so inspiring, and I'm so glad this woman is still with us--she has such intelligence and vivacity :)

  • how would your schizophrenia 'disappear' faster than your body could metabolize all of the processed foods you were eating before. Diet is extremely important to wellness, but you weren't on an anti-psychotic to begin with. i would be interested in the diagnosis given by doctors. i dont mean to sound negative, just inqusitive as many of us struggle with this life long degenerative disease, and there are only a few gaps in the story, that if filled could help others significantly.

  • @SoulfulVeg I'm disgusted that your therapist had that attitude, but I think it's all too common. Can't tell you how much I admire you for turning your back on the insidious medicalisation of people today, most just accept it like sheep (actually, that's an insult to sheep...)

  • :)

  • My therapist INSISTED I go on Wellbutrin, and I told her I wanted to try something natural. She was so disgusted with me, so I quit going to her because of her attitude. I started a vegan diet and walking in the sun. I changed the way I look at things(she did help with that).

After reading about the lack of clinical evidence with antidepressants, I decided to start exercising and decided to change my view about things.

Not telling anyone else to stop med, but I found I didn't need them.

  • Hugs to you Vibrant Vic...and to you, too, Arnold!

  • I love you Victoria!!! And Arnold too!

  • Loved her!

  • I am glad people get to hear about the side effects of coming off anti depressant from people that know what it is like.

  • wonderful story victoria!

  • This woman is amazing. She went cold turkey. She stopped taking her medications, stopped eating fast foods and she stopped smoking. All with the healing help of raw foods. She looks great and by her attitude she's feeling wonderful. The clue here is that she eats--a lot of calories from fruit and vegetables. She does not "systemically under eat." I hope DTM watches and learns something from this video. Carbing up with the right foods "consistently" stabilizes mood swings.

  • Wow! I love her story! And she's cute too!

  • wow! she is great!

  • Arnold is a blessing to us!!

  • What an inspiring story!!! Thanks for sharing!! She looks amazing!

  • he is full of crap, 1 1/2 years ago I was 460 lbs and lived on nothing but pizza and fast food, my feet were swollen and I had some circ issue like edima but worse. My chol was borderline high, my resting pulse was 100 bpm. I went vegetarian cold turkey and over the next 6 months cut out more and more crap like jujubes and cookies and now im 280 and 80 away from my goal. Oh and im vegan now as well. :) So I understand what she says

  • @tbayguy you are amazing also, I hope you make it to the end, I reeally know you will. Good luck.

  • @rosewood513 thank you. Its a long hard road esp when you deal with depression a lot and live on the west coast where its gloomy and rainy 7 months of the year. However I watch a lot of vids including Arnolds to help keep me focused with all the cool people he interviews. I wish I could go visit his store (and hopefully get to meet the fair Megan hehe ) . Thanks again :) Cheers Rob

  • @tbayguy oh and I meant kevin trudeau is full of crap not Arnold. He is just a peddler of whatever he figures he can sell. Anyway if his book helps people all the power baby!

  • my Dr wanted me to go on effexor XR and because I had already taken a wellbutrin my pharmacist said not to start effexor till the next day, that night I did some reading and chickened out and never did go on the effexor.

  • My favorite fast food is a ripe banana....not the drive thru. Good luck Victoria . Keep it up , Bob

  • What a fantastic story - congratulations!!!

    Debbie *Ü*
