When i hear songs like this ithink the video game industry will never be the same sure theres great games but call of duty remakes every year is just making games like this disappear.

@1993Youngking the orchestra music is pretty cool in Skyward Sword and gives it a real time epic feeling, but it's not as memorable as past soundtracks but it's still great.
I actually like how easy ganon was at the end. With link having the sages/light arrow and the master sword by his side it was finally time to take his crazy ass down. Going through the game you earn the power to really fuck him up at the end.
Epic music. Epic looking boss. Epic feel, but the fight wasn't that epic, I was kind of disappointed at how easy Ganon was, I was prepared for so much more :/ I just beat Skyward Sword, but this game by far still is, and has been, my most favorite Zelda game ever, and it always will be.
Have to say, and I've experienced this with many games, but it seems Legend of Zelda the most. I really just CAN'T get into the final boss music of Legend of Zelda games...
...until I'm actually fighting the boss.

Twilight Princess's Poe killing side quest was terribly difficult due to the removal of a day to night & night to day song.
@PSISpecter That's because The whole Zelda series isn't centered around Music. It's centered around Zelda and Link and Ganon. Not the instruments. The only one where it seriously surrounded music, was ocarina of time. Then next was majoras mask, then wind waker. The music and instruments was not what made the Zelda series a great game. It was the creativity, and thoughtfulness that went into making the game.
@deathonic I totally agree to you, but you musn't forget Link's Awakening (all those instruments), but the music also created the atmosphere to the scenes of the game, so the music was a part of the game.

Each one features a whole bunch of forgettable games and a few memorable ones. I'm not saying that every generation of video games is as good as every other one, just that each one has its unique good and bad points.
To really get the effect of this song, you need to picture the boss fight going on in your head with all the noises coming from the action.
The first time I heard this I felt like this song conveyed the mood perfectly. Link wasn't trying to show off or anything by fighting Ganon, he wanted to save the world, and after all of the trouble he went through he finally was at the final moment.
No wonder he had the courage part of the Triforce.
"Well Link, if you win against this horrific beast, you'll leave this timeline and go back to your own, allowing Ganon to eventually break his seal and return to reign over Hyrule until the Godesses flood the land and eventually need the Hero of Wind to fix things up, and if you die in this fight then the seven sages will have to seal Ganon on their own, and eventually need another swordsman to help them in the near future."
@DekuSmed I didn't have the Biggoron sword. Just the Master Sword for this fight. Beat the fight no damage on my first try. This boss was disappointingly easy.

this music, especially in context, is perfect. i haven't played in a long time and i thought i had remembered much heavier music, but then i realized that it was the sound effects of ganon crashing around that i remembered
how great would it be to have an ocarina of time remake for the wii.... like a legitimate remake, not just patching up graphics like they did for the 3DS
@SkellionPowalskiz soo your saying getting stabbed through the forehead is less violent then being stabbed in the mouth but that aside idk what game you've been playing but both versions of ocarina of time have ganon getting slashed a few times then impaled in the head...never once did link stab him in the mouth
I really didn't like how they toned down this fight in the 3D remake, instead of Ganon trying to face Link when he's dealing that last few hits in the cutscene and gets stabbed in the mouth, he just rests his head and gets stabbed in the forehead. LAME.
I always thought of this as the epic moment that Link had been waiting for since the start. All that run through my mind is that this is it, all I have done was for this final battle and that I couldnt let Hyrule, no the world down. This game did a really nice job making you feel as if you were in this world and this moment was real.
All I think about when I hear this is, 'I went though time, pased many tests, traversed the land and the dungons that there are, saved my friends and other people from your evil let alone saving Zelda... Its on Ganon!"

this music, especially in context, is perfect. i haven't played in a long time and i thought i had remembered much heavier music, but then i realized that it was the sound effects of ganon crashing around that i remembered

@SkellionPowalskiz soo your saying getting stabbed through the forehead is less violent then being stabbed in the mouth but that aside idk what game you've been playing but both versions of ocarina of time have ganon getting slashed a few times then impaled in the head...never once did link stab him in the mouth

I really didn't like how they toned down this fight in the 3D remake, instead of Ganon trying to face Link when he's dealing that last few hits in the cutscene and gets stabbed in the mouth, he just rests his head and gets stabbed in the forehead. LAME.

I always thought of this as the epic moment that Link had been waiting for since the start. All that run through my mind is that this is it, all I have done was for this final battle and that I couldnt let Hyrule, no the world down. This game did a really nice job making you feel as if you were in this world and this moment was real.

@TheAnimewar4 Meh, I didn't. Nintendo has tricked me WAY too many times with 'final' bosses, wich is pretty much always followed by ANOTHER final boss. :D
