  • " Surrender?! " " No Way! " lol

  • Wow! That is one good video.

    :D

  • nice pirates and imperial ship

  • muito loco!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • @SuperLpfan1 and no the pirate ship resembles a 4th to 5th rate and same for the naval ship.

  • @SuperLpfan1 cause...back then the main point of their jobs has naval captains whas the following

    1.rid the seas of pirates

    2. help people from pirate attacks

    3. capture pirate crew and send them to a port jail

4.capture the ship and dock it for the country to change flags repair etc to turn it into their respective companies battleship.

  • cool and good! was it hard....

  • who could dislike this?!?!?!

  • at the end it a nice music what it call?

  • @SuperLpfan1 oh, ok then

  • @SuperLpfan1 Well if they were returning to there country they might be considered pirates and killed while entering port.

  • @legoSWproductions well not really SOME ports dont mind pirates and hire them to capture ships but instead of reffering them has Pirates they reffer to them has "privateers"

  • @umean123 Ahh yes I forgot about those. Excellent point.

  • @legoSWproductions yeah i think port royal was at that the time the port with the most pirates using it.

  • @umean123 Interesting, I actually didn't know that.

  • @legoSWproductions well anyways port royal was really considered a craddle for pirates often pirates would dock there and stay a couple of hours or days depends but really apparently port royal was Great Britains wich where the Pirates equal in navy so Great Britain (British) decided to take the job of taking pirates off the seas but its unknown why they let pirates reside there if it really was Great Britains.

  • @legoSWproductions But apparently that may have ben how Great Britain become the "dominant navy of the sea" back then by hiring pirates in the name of "privateers" to capture other ships and bring it back without wasting money on crew members and less money on damages cause they only have to repair either all the damaged ships captured from the enemy fleet but not have to repair privateer ships so it was a way to get boats but not need to spend alot of money to add it to their navy.

  • @umean123 Woah, that's a lot of information. Didn't they used to hire privateers to raid Spanish treasure?

  • @legoSWproductions well they hire privateers for many things... "spying"without having much risk, raiding villages, capturing ships, just attack a village then retreat once the enemy naval/army gets involved and try to have their units check it out and help making other towns weakened (because some of their guards left to help another town, village, etc leaving them a bit more exposed to attack),somethimes but rarely help out in a war between 2 armies, steal boats from docks without damaging the boat

  • @legoSWproductions Yes... they where often there to take down spanish treasure fleets because they are hired has (convoys) for other fleets wich is bad for an army that wants to engage it its a risk that those convoy fleets spot the ship and raise an alarm or because of the convoy fleet they may end up outgunned/outmanned or just simply to outnumbered in ships to attack without it being a "suicide" attack

  • @legoSWproductions and not need to spend money on other ships from their own navy engaged in the capturing fight.

  • Nice

  • A VERY sad ending.. Wish the pirates slaughtered 'em.

  • @Nikitns no a sad ending is the naval losing and the pirates plundering and killing innocent people... that is sad the bad guys being brought to justice isnt even tho i like being pirates in games lol

  • @Nikitns i mean seriously i fucking raise a skull and crossbones flag wich means (surrender or everyone on your ship dies) and all they do is try to flee or fight... its got no fucking purpose to have that flag lol

  • @Nikitns still what i do find stupid is the pirate captain may have lost his sword but he still has a hook wich he can fight with but hes to scared... lol

  • Is this some sort of downloadable program? Great video by the way.

  • nice!

  • wow is all i can say

  • wow!! how long did it take to make that? its amazing!!

  • That was amazing.

    I love the lego pirates.

  • realy well done movie, gratz!

  • Loved it.

  • This is magnificent. The two story shot inside the ship, at 1:55, was worthy of a Hollywood production. And thank you for providing all the information about how you did this at your web site (http://www.outside-hollywood.com). Thanks again.

  • Now why... why can't LEGO do cool stuff like this?

And what happened to the pirate sets? I haven't seen one at the toy store in years.

    And I've been looking.

  • very well done. 5 stars

  • Alas, it will probably take a lot more than just one animation, hence why I'm trying to group all the Pirate LEGO fanatics together in the forum I've been building over the past 5 months.

I'm working on starting a movement! The bring back REAL Pirate LEGO movement!

  • If this doesn't grab LEGO's attention enough to reissue the Pirates line, I don't know what will. Thanks for a great piece of work!

  • We're all quite impressed with this animationed at the World's Biggest Pirate LEGO Forum (pirates.eurobricks.com)

It has everything a Pirate LEGO fanatic could hope for and its the creators have even managed to include a "Wilhelm Scream".

  • Superb!!

  • Great job - i Give it 5 stars!

  • Yay!! That's really well done, Botkin family!! We want to give you five stars.

    -the New family

  • Great to see this up on YouTube. Bravo!

  • This is definitely one of the best I've seen. Incredible.

I hope to see this featured on YouTube. It deserves it.

  • Absolutly stunning! Very very well done! 5 STARS!!!! And only done in one month!!

  • That was one of the best CGI Brickfilms I have ever seen, Great Job!
