@daghost9 Unfortunetly, you can't deviate from what cards you give her. In order to get the rare cards to be created through this sidequest, you have to give her the exact cards HCBailly is and the same order.

You can also draw Tornadoes from a bird like monster around Deling City and the tomb. I remember I did that on my first playthrough on disk 1 and I had I think over 8000 hp when I hp-junction them. xD

Interrestingly enough in teh french version of FFVIII you cannot get the statue to move and release that piece of vase... 5recently had to play the french version on the PSN, my Jap and US import FFs are useless now)

@masterplusmargarita It's Shumi, not Shinji. Well, in the translated version anyway. No idea what it was called in the original version. A lot of translators like changing the names of towns and such, even if it does nothing to help understand what's going on. Unlike the Pokemon series, where the towns are named after flowers and such.

'Initiative' is really only useful during the super-boss fights when the strategy requires you to have the first-strike. And the not so obvious beauty about 'Auto-Haste' is that it makes you immune to the Slow and Stop statii.

you can get windmills as a drop from an enemy around the train station behind the forest of galbadia garden. they're not too uncommon at early levels if I remember correctly. I remember grinding for windmills right when you first get dropped off at that train station in the story, and it didn't take much longer than 20 minutes.

I'd rather have the card, personally.

You can only get that suit of armor piece if you have Irvine or Quistis in your party. I used to always put Rinoa and Zell in my party and I was never able to get that piece and I couldn't figure out why.
