their lyrics have always been just as good as the music and that's rare to find in my opinion. Her voice may not be technically great but she conveys such emotion and works well with it that it doesn't matter. As someone said about BB King once, she can get more out of one syllable than some singers get out of the whole song.

this is my favorite EBTG song. i remember the first time i heard it as well...so beautiful. voice is crazy wonderful. this was my first album...then i went back and got the older stuff, and honestly, i like the electronic stuff too. both are great.
