Recent data from a study has shown that abstinance only education was more effective at prevention of pregnancy. It doesn't work all the time, but it's got a better track record than sex-ed.

Recent data from a study has shown that abstinance only education was more effective at prevention of pregnancy. It doesn't work all the time, but it's got a better track record than sex-ed.

The laws of descendency with modification and natural selection were hypothesis when Darwin presented his draft. The first was proven with the DNA discovery (mutations) and experimental tests, the second was tested with evolution experiments in labs, embryons, DNA and fossils comparisions, etc.

I don't believe there's a god, and if there's one god, then I don't know it exists. I cannot admit I'm wrong, because I find no god or unicorns to tell I'm wrong - thus, by definition, I cannot be arrogant on that. Before calling others arrogant and stupid, look yourself in a mirror.

so your arguement is as follows: if someone thinks the earth has existed for some particular period of time, then it follows that that person is a worshipper of time. I think we can reason better than that. second arguement: If someone doesn't believe in god, then it's because they fear the consequences. This is like saying nothing at all. do you believe in zeus? well you're just scared of the thunderbolt. hey do you believe in a flat earth? hey you're just afraid of falling off the eduge. yes?

I also admire Carl Sagan. He's the opposite of Kent Hovind, and had no problem to admit and enumerate his flawed proposals and ideas (he wrote about them on "Demon Haunted-World" book - I read a portuguese translation). And I think he would never say "my unbiased opinion".
Hovind, VenomFangX and their followers have too much to learn about humility and honesty.

yeah it's a great book, it's also incredibly misunderstood. Alot of people who read (misread) it have used it to claim Sagan supported certain psychic phenomena

Carl Sagan presents some hypothesis, in a chapter about open mind and skepticism. Maybe those guys focused on the hypothesis, and missed the rest of the book. LOL
