  • @MrFrumpyDumpy

    You are

  • fake !!

  • The gear warning beep sounds less than authentic - like maybe it was added on using any number of freeware/shareware apps available for download. Same thing for the scraping sound. And didn't hear the prop strike and subsequent engine shutdown, although I personally have no idea if it would be audible since I've never experienced a gear-up landing. Just adding an opinion... thanks for the video.

  • what kind of plane is it? High wing but with retractable gear..

  • @domdonald Cessna Cutlass RG...essentially a 172 with retractable gear, were made only a few years.

  • scraaatch

  • How do you know when you've landed gear up? When it takes full power to taxi in. :)

  • @KB4QAA And when theres a damn alarm beeping at your ass

  • thats the sound of money being ripped from a man pocket

  • Hm looks like normal landing, maybe sound is added later

  • gear failed?

  • According to me there was a problem with the landing gear (i.e broken) because in lighter aircrafts like these with single rotor blade engine, not sure Cesna or piper there is no retractable landing gear.... they knew what they were doing!

  • @MrUmairG actually this is a cessna 172 RG. The pilot was to do a landing for part of his check ride and forgot to put the gear down.

  • @MrUmairG Notice all these other guys posting aircraft with the designation RG? That stands for retractable gear. There are small aircraft with retractable landing gear so you sir are wrong.

  • @MrUmairG If there were no retractable gear there wouldn't have been a gear warning device installed, and surely many SEPs have RU. So basically your statement is wrong. However there could be some technical problem, that I don't know.

  • All I can hear from the soundtrack is the u/c horn, so maybe they KNEW the gear was up? and I agree with CR4ZYHOR5E about the following 2 minutes..

  • well, that surely raises your landing fees!

  • beep beep beep beep gear gear gear gear beep beep beep beep gear gear gear gear

  • well... it's not a kiss landing ;-)

  • Shame we didn't get to see the following couple of minutes.

  • Unnecessary talking below 1000', no checklists being used, no crew awareness or investigation as to why the gear warning horn is constantly on, no confirmation from the tower or other aircraft if the landing gear is visually down, no diverting to another airport with firetrucks or having medical assistance on standby, no idle-cutoff at the flare (the last 4 of those assuming that they had any concerns about the status of the gear) and worst of all a needless accident. Maintain cockpit disipline!

  • @mrjck that doesn't matter because your a nigger

  • @mrjck i dont see how that couldve gone wrong!

  • @mrjck

Hogwash. Don't judge without more info. The crew had no immediate reaction (to the sound of crunching metal, etc), so were clearly expecting that outcome. That indicates a known landing gear failure or similar, likely already verified by previous flights over the runway. Also suggests why there were no checklists (already done) and talking. Finally, it's quite possible their fuel status didn't allow for diverting to another airport.

  • @stewartx5 How did you expect them to act: like rabid chimps? Go to YouTube video -K4QHpVXtxI , it is the original video. Oh...and read the description there. Therein are the facts. *kiss-kiss*

  • Hmmmm I wonder if it was a gear retraction failure??

  • This is the gear talking:

Beep beep beep beeo (2 minutes later)

BEEP BEEP SHUT UP AND PUT ME UP!

    (CRASH) AHHHHHHHHH

  • Ouch, but I don't think that hurt

  • In stereo :-)

  • The check would have been done before approach, the alarm is indicating the landing gear hasn't fully extended.... as for why somebody would be training in a plane with retractable landing gear... hey we all gotta learn some time.. same as learning a tail wheel assembly, twin engines, turbo prob jet list is endless.

Retractable landing gear is something that I even learnt on a plane that didn't have it!

  • uh why would someone be training in a plane with retractable gear?

  • @Atlantisfan119 Why wouldnt they?

  • @2491cc I guess you could. Its just a bit expensive and unnecessary. No flight school I've ever gone to use retractable gear to train students, unless the are training specifically to be flying a retractable gear plane.

  • BEEP BEEP BEEP BEEP BEEP BEEP BEEP BEEP

  • No gumps check prior to landing.

  • lol because he forgot to put the landing gears on llol stupid

  • Obviously you are not a pilot.

  • i wonder what the loud beep beep beep beep beep beep beep beepbeep beep beep beep beep beep beep beepbeep beep beep beep beep beep beepbeep beep beep beep beep beep beep beepbeep beep beep beep beep beep beepbeep beep beep beep beep beep beep beep
