Lol@Kcousin. Shes actually my wife now and shes 21, I actually got 2 Ultra Sabers now, the Liberator and Dominix V2 LE finally and both are great. Working on getting a first Obsidian saber now. Its going to be a Bellicose with an Arctic Blue Ultra Edge blade, Obsidian with blue av button and gold button, li-ion batteries, and short pommel. Unless the red av button comes back again then it'll be a Consular saber in Consular Green with Obsidian and red av button. I might get my wife a DWG saber.
I just finally ordered my first Ultra Saber on Saturday! ^-^ I got me a Consular Green Liberator saber with a mid-grade blade. I think my saber might be in sometime this week. I'm gonna make a video and post some pics when the saber gets here. I plan to order my bro a Dark Standard Issue battle saber in red cause he likes the dark side. :p Not sure what to get for my girl because she wants a saber from Ultra Sabers too. She likes green also. Got any suggestions? I want hers to be a metal too.
@jedimastergarcia87 I guess it depends on her age and style. If she's younger, or isn't a heavy dueler, she might like the Initiate V2. If she wants a longer blade or will do more two-handed dueling, the Aeon might be better. Both of these have straighter grips and are likely to be more comfortable than the Prophesy or the Arbiter, while not being as slick as the Standard issue or the Redemption. Again, I imagine it depends mostly on how she's likely to hold it.
@jedimastergarcia87 You can get a bunch of great saber advice on the Ultrasabers forum. They also recently set it up so that active users on the forum also get discounts on saber purchases.

@jedimastergarcia87 Maybe you could get her a Initiate V3 with Initiate blade and have it Green (suggestion for if shes 7 or younger) and you could also get her a Domanix V3 with Mid Grade blade and have it green (suggestion for if shes 8 or older)
Ultrasabers has Heavy Ultra Edge now. Great for harsher dueling. They also use a different type of LED now, so red is no longer the brightest color. Orange is still the dimmest color, but it's a different shade of orange. (a little redder I'm told) You can get RGB control blades for an extra $100 now, if you want to change/mix your colors on the fly.
@1904Louis depends, if u wanna beat crap up, get an ultrasaber. if u want looks or value, get a fx. or if u want both, get a force fx and send it to ultrasabers to convert the blade..looks and durability.
So would u say that someone should not get the fire orange because you said it was the dimmest they have...would u advise i get the orange or red because i like the idea of orange but im looking for something that looks realistic in the dark...thanks
In the dark I'd say the orange looks realistic-ish. But in full daylight, sometimes you can't even tell it's on. This was filmed with just sunlight coming through the window. Red is the brightest color they have. Brighter than the LED string blades. Also, the exposure rate on your camera can drastically effect how realistic a blade looks. (they look great on my cell phone) But if you're not looking at movie making, I'd probably go with red. (unless you really like orange like I do)

the battery holder deal is really crapy, mines has broken with the first couple days of choreographing, but once that is fixed its really durable, how is the phantom? im considering buyin it
@kevduderocks One of the battery holders in my phantom is broken, so I use a small rubber band to keep them in. Sometimes if I stick the batteries in to far, I have to use a hook to get them back out. I'm not sure Ultrasabers still do the batteries the same way now though.
if you want an orange sabre dont get the ulraedge blade, it look kinda peachy, if you stick with mid or heavy grade you get a warmer colour

You can convert your MR sabers so you can fight with them or whatever. I might get the Yoda Ultra FX myself.

Ultra sabers are durable if you want to duel but if your looking for just collecting one for show go with fx.
