Agreed I was a clerk in a church that regularly asked people if they paid a full tithe and I witnessed every adult Lie to the pastor one by one to receive special privilege even the pastor lied about it. Not a single woman in the church ever paid but held they had.. I saw a few Young Men at least try to be honest but not a single married man, woman, or independent woman would admit not paying a full tithe, Why? I say it was cowardice to face down the stigma, and a personal aversion to the truth
