  • Many ways to explain that "push" chord at 6:20 but here's one: it's a IV/V chord (Four Chord over a Five Bass Note). Very common in the Mowtown sound. "I'll Be there uses that same (since it's in the key of F) Bb triad chord over the C bass note. Some call it a V11, but not really since it leaves out the 3rd & 5th. Huh? It's more like a IV chord over a pedal-point V, creating a great & distinct tension, pushing back to the home-base chord.
