@PeteRoy Thank you for your reply. I was wondering that why do people say to ground yourself while installing RAM or CPU. And will this board fit in Cooler Master's HAF 932 AMD Edition Chasis If not then which chasis should I buy which looks great and have liquid cooling and other great qualities.

@MUHAMMADHASANKHAN1 The board will fit to any full ATX case, I'm sure it would fit into a HAF 932 but I don't know about AMD edition.

Have you done any overclocking on this board or is it even possible? Just wondering how stable the fsb is?

overclocking is possible, I have overclocked the CPU to 3.4Ghz but I didnt keep it for long because it got too hot with my intel cooler

gotta be careful on intell boards the cheap ones cant overclock but i do believe that this one can though.

Intel calls it "Intel Desktop Board" as oppose to laptop board or server board.

hello: will this motherboard DX58SO fit two GTX 285 SLI coz i heard the SATA layout is pretty bad and a card with a fat ass will cover most of them is that true?

I know that after a BIOS update this board was made SLI compatible, I haven't looked over the SATA layout for a while so maybe you should look for photos of this board or read a review.

@crystal19831 the SATAs layout of the old dx58SO (which i it is not yet SLI ready) will be covered by the V.card because the SATA is placed in front but new dx58so boards which is now sli ready changed the layout from the front to the side.. .so theres no problem :).

I guess I will have to make a video of that when I can, I can tell you now that I am pretty pleased with it, all my past computers had Intel boards and this one didn't let me down.

I think Nvidia will enable SLI on this board.

i want this board but i heard alot alot of negative and bad reviews of it and does it support sli i just have that as first choice couse its black which there is no other board for that price that is black and black goes great with antec nine hundred two and 285 GTX black edition

The decision to buy this Intel board for me was the tradition I have to buy Intel motherboards, my Pentium 3 mobo was Intel same for my Pentium 4 and when I was planning my future system I knew no matter what I would buy Intel mobo again.

So far Intel haven't failed me, all the boards are still working, they are all updated to the latest BIOS, Intel support is very good, I still didn't find a reason not to follow them almost blindly.
