Love using the Boomshield. It makes me feel untouchable. Longshot is probably the only sniper rifle I'll ever be good at using in a shooting game. Period. I love and hate the torque bow. I love it because it blows up anyone. Hate it because I get hit by it alot. Got shot in the ass once and blew up.

gears 2 isn't really futuristic, it's just that the aliens(or whatnot) with seemingly less advanced technology than us make it seem like it's in the future.

if you notice the humans in gears 2 have just the same technology as us. holographic sights on an assault rifle aren't impossible.
