Is this where you are going to do your more political vids from now on???
Anyway, yeah, it is fucked up. Last year in my AP Geo class we studied the impact of large corporations. We looked at the map of just the COUNTY that we live in, and it was littered with Walmarts. It's pretty fucking disturbing.
Bush is just another representative. they're all the same because of how the system works. the bigger the slime ball the farther you get in government.
i try not to go to any super stores......no walfart, no target, no kmart. i go to smaller drug stores and hardware stores, and try to keep my dollar at the mom and pop shops....even if it costs me a buck or two more. its worth it to me.
That's why you don't just sweep the state from underneath, you get that tablecloth effect where all the china falls on the floor and shatters. Decentralization is the key, Wal Mart will find it harder to function without subsidies and limited liability, they simply won't be able to offer low prices without government funding.
Just think, if this were a true democracy, who the hell would vote to give Wal Mart money? I sure as hell wouldn't.
sadly I imagine a lot of communities would vote to give wal mart money. But then they'd feel like they OWNED wal mart because they WOULD.
ha. shit. i love when i figure shit out.
thats why france does it that way. that way everyones just connected and feels responsible for their surroundings. When you own something personally you take good care of it. we dont own this country and we know it. thats why we treat it like its meaningless. thats why we're all thieves and black marketers.
in germany some cities sold their wastewater treatment plants and the public transport systems to american companies through cross-border-leasing and will probably lose a lot of money through this (they were not able to read the contract because it was written in english)
last time I went to target I left without buying anything cuz I couldn't find a single item in the entire store that was made by us. It all serves to benefit the Chinese. not us.
Yea, sometimes I do get a sort of weird, unsettling feeling when dealing with some of these corporations. I prefer to go to small businesses. Sometimes laziness and apathy gets in the way.

You have a cool voice. I prefer Target. I still need to watch the Walmart documentary.

I probably should pay closer attention to what I buy. It's hard to be lazy and do the right thing.

my parents were radicals. its all natural to me. I get like an allergic reaction if I even go near any corporate structures.
