That's literally as accurate as a two-thousand dollar track torch (I have many hours running those!) and unlike them is portable. It is MORE positively located than a friction-drive track torch. If you like, you could easily mount a hand plasma torch to one, or a machine-style oxy-fuel or plasma torch. I'm going to make one for myself. The self-centering wheel-less carriage is brilliant in its simplicity.

A really novel jig setup. It can be easily built. Explain how rotating the center threaded shaft with the drill advances the torch holder? My only complaint is the shoddy camera work.
