@Forkintheroadstudios Haha, the Triforce symbol can represent so much more than the Triforce from LoZ.. (a general symbol for trinity, which you find, U dunno, pretty much everywhere?) so no, people can easily take him seriously because it doesn't have to represent something "geeky".

Though, a lot of people probably take you seriously even though you walk around with geek pride having that on your arm, too :]

What if he was sent on a quest to save a princess, and he required to show the tattoo to the royal family in order to get through places like the Water Temple and the Deku Palace? You need that tattoo to get to the next part in the quest. But you would never understand because you have never been on a quest.
