  • free will is a fallacy

  • The control of motion is free will.

  • What in the hell is this person talking about? This is about the falsest thing I've ever heard. There is already a third derivative of position, it is called jerk. None of this has anything to do with free will whatsoever. What an absurd waste of time.

  • .....But in that respect the acceleration is equal on the far left to the acceleration just before it crosses the bottom and so any position on the left with the quality of 'maximum' is arbitrary.

  • It is arbitrary which side the + or - is on what matters is that the acceleration is not constant. Acceleration peaks before bottom dead center in each direction

  • He confuses the idea of magnitude and signed size.

When he says that the acceleration is at its maximum on the left hand side (which he uses a + to denote) he is misleading. The magnitude of the acceleration (unlike the position or velocity) is constant throughout the swing; only its direction changes.

By assigning a sign to the sides he then can say that the acceleration is positive on one side but negative on the other so in that respect it is 'greater' on the left than on the right.

  • In order to "make things" - be they Bell Helicopters (as Young has done) or other things - one has to understand forces and balance them in such a way as to produce a controllable experience. This tutorial shows how control is derived... what aspects it must contain - if you prefer. It is simple and to th point. BRAVO!

  • By default he is wrong because he is using the force of gravity which makes the velocity from the 2 points.

  • Although i cannot disproove you i'd bet on mr young. Default is highly variable

  • Well, one of the first steps of enlightenment is working past duality. I think it's just a poor example.

Working past duality, when you realize you can choose to stack those dualities on top of each other and then you no longer have duality, but multple forces of pull.
