When he says that the acceleration is at its maximum on the left hand side (which he uses a + to denote) he is misleading. The magnitude of the acceleration (unlike the position or velocity) is constant throughout the swing; only its direction changes.
By assigning a sign to the sides he then can say that the acceleration is positive on one side but negative on the other so in that respect it is 'greater' on the left than on the right.
In order to "make things" - be they Bell Helicopters (as Young has done) or other things - one has to understand forces and balance them in such a way as to produce a controllable experience. This tutorial shows how control is derived... what aspects it must contain - if you prefer. It is simple and to th point. BRAVO!

Working past duality, when you realize you can choose to stack those dualities on top of each other and then you no longer have duality, but multple forces of pull.
