i am 19 and am sure i played all the notes correctly on beginner. Maybe my tuning is wrong? I have perfect pitch so i matched the tones with my piano and somehow i can't seem to sound like you. Maybe you know what the problem is? noah

I notice how you use your middle finger to bend the G string. Haven't seen that before, but i also use my ring finger on the B string for bending and stuff. Can't seem to get that kind of lick going where you bend and you bar B and E strings with your index finger. Something always gets in the way :( any tips?

Hey, great lesson you are one of my favorites. Lots of you guys talk about tuning down a half step like this lesson and most of SRV'S songs but no one tells us how exactly to do that. I went to my local guitar store today and they tought me to tune it down to 430 on my tuner. Very simple but I could not find that information on any sites, just a thought. Keep up the great work!!

I started with the advanced lesson, which was improvised, and then for this lesson and the beginner lesson, I reduced the complexity of the advanced solo.
