my pomchi sparky passed away jan 23, 2012, he was the love of my life, i will forever miss him and watching these little dogs play is so touching, i hope someday to open my heart to another pomchi
Just because it never happened doesn't mean it's the right decision. A puppy shaking something on their own doesn't put a strain on their jaw. Now you can try and whine your way out of bad behavior and act like it's cute, but in the end you know it's not the right thing to do. Kids that got abused by their parents CAN turn out as great adults. Doesn't mean that beating them isn't wrong. It won't actualy hurt the dog, but in the end it CAN cause injuries to the jaw, the teeth and the neck.
@Trevor92Romeril have you ever owned a dog before? they're not as fragile as you may think. The dog is playing. If it was hurt it would act like it was hurt.
I actually just got a pomchi for an early Christmas present! She looks more like a Pomeranian, she's the sweetest thing! My first dog, So I'm not sure what to expect yet! He looks so cute :-) you are doing nothing wrong!
I have the same rope toy for my Westi as you! Ohh and i know dogs attack their toys and try to kill them as if they were prey, but on a pup i think you are being a little ruff. Cute dog though.
Wow so high concentration of stupid people in comment section. No you cant pull out his teeth or cause brain trauma. Dogs shake their toys like that all the time.
cant you like oh i don't know maybe cause brain trauma to the dog from repeatedly smacking his brain from one side his skull to the other.... just sayin.
Hehe how cute <3 even my dog wasnt that agrresive with his toys.. he still is very hyper over toys though o.O .. Big dog , trailor house, = Holy... shit...
We have a pom who is 7 now, he loves to play tug-of-war type games and shakes his toys so hard that he rips them out of my hand. I also have a 4 year old and a 16 month old, my pom would never dream of hurting either one of my children. Playing Tug-of-war games did not make him aggressive. I will add that these sort of games are not suitable for all dogs. Don't blanket condemn every action. Dogs are like children, each one is different and should be treated as such.
What a cute dog! We have a pomchi named Remus and this is exactly how he loves to play with toys. He loves to bring us his "Porky" for us to try to take away. He's the most gentle and sweet dog I've owned and he's perfectly healthy (and happy!).
WIOW... i have a pomchi.. hes name is Bolt and he is 1 year old... u SHOULD NEVER play that rough with any dog.. teaches them agressive behavior and it can cause problems if your going to shake a dog thats almost 3 months all around like that.. sorry but you basically ABUSED this poor dog.. He is cute but doesnt deserve that.. ALSO.. u say you owned 12 dogs ummm what happened to them all? probably the same thing you shoke them to death. :-/
@daria708 Walmart, actually, in the Pet section. It looks brown and white - like a real mouse but had a 'chirper' inside of it. Both our cats and Guido LOVE it! :) I actually have to hide it from them because it gets a bit annoying lol
hes so cute!!!
