if thats your perch spot id suggest using a perch for bive ate im not much of a live bait fisherman mainly because im a tournament bass angler and its prohibited but im always trying to match the main forage of the fish im after just a suggestion but keep making vids you obviously know what your doin

Looks like you were fishing quite a bit over-depth judging by the position of your float on the surface. I don't use trebles anymore, I use a single sea-hook (1/0-2/0) makes unhooking that bit easier and causes the fish minimal distress and stops your landing net getting torn up!

i think its a better idea to use 8 pound line on perch so if u do see a pike u have a better chance :)

All us fishermen live in glas houses i'm afraid. We all don't like things others do. I wouldn't use a net for pike because it can damage their fins, yet i am happy to pierce their mouths to catch them. Good video though Stu, i do love pike fishing.
