Hi there m8y, i contacted you nearly 1 year ago id say now, well im back into wanting to fly put it that way... i have a question...how do you rate this glider now? and what is the battery life like on it, and also how much weight did you stick in the flont for that flight in what mph winds? thanks :)
Hi, I'm the pilot, not the videographer. I finally retired her this season. This is a GREAT entry-level glider that is very capable - thermal duration, slope, even A/V platform. I only ever flew this one stock - brushed 400 motor, 25A ESC, and 8-cell NiMH pack from CheapBatteryPacks. No other weight in the nose, and still had weight plug in the tail. With this setup, I could get four decent climbouts, saving a little battery for a goaround on landing. Just got a Blizzard for next season!!
Brilliant mate! Sorry for the slow reply, i seem to be coming back to this vid every month, i do love this glider, looking a cheap ones on ebay im staying well clear of them! I going to buy this tonight! And over the holidays take a nice hours walk up a big slope and give it a bash! Cant wait! My god that Multiplex Blizzard is very quick! Good luck! Not for the faint hearted i guess! :D
man, I can't stop watching your video. Very nice in general. It makes me think about how wonderful is the RC world... Now I'm having problems with my first plain (Easy Star), but i hope to put a video soon :)
The Elapor Foam is pretty tough. My bro did some pretty strong powered loops and they did flex... but I've never seen them snap. Infact, I've never heard of anyone having them snap. The flex might actually prevent this... as opposed to a brittle balsa wing. You might check RCGroups or RC.Universe for more details. Happy flying.
I've flown for 2 years now, and when I tried my bro's EZglider, I didn't have much problems at any speed. It has a tendency to tip stall if you use too much ailron during the turn, but you learn quickly how to counteract this effect with rudder. It glides slow for a long time, but does need a pretty good amount of space to take off and land - 75meters? (guessing) Thanks for the comments. Happy flying.
Great video! I am just coming back from flying mine :-) at -5° C here in Switzerland. In a park I would used a smaller motor glider, since it can go really fast and needs space. This is my second EG - the first EG Electric I totally crashed at high speed and if you see the result, you can definitely kill someone. Now I have a EG pro, which has a much better cockpit space arrangement and motor mount.
Thanks! My brother just passed his on to me, and I'm getting to do some pretty cool onboard footage... Happy flying. P.S. - It helps to use the rudder a lot to facilitate better turns.
Super Video. Good flight

I see that you are using the electric easy glider. Are you still using the large battery for the slope?
Cbeaky73 3 years ago
yes... the wind was still a little crazy on the slope, so we'd always have the normal motor and battery in for needed "bailouts"
Shadowhawk30 3 years ago
Thanks for the info shadowhawk. I think I could do with 75 meter landing space.

Beutuful flight! I need a glider for my local park. How well is the EasyGliders low speed? I dont want to accdently hit a person at 60mph lol.
Again great video, I really want this glider now.

Excellent video and music from Coldplay. It has inspired me to get one! Hopefully, it should be flying just as well in the next few weeks.

Panasonic PVGS39. One reason the footage is so good is because of the close proximity of the airplane while slope flying... Thanks for the comments!
