@andrew0901280 It was a piece of crap, I threw it at the ground and broke it :D
It was from Harbor Freight, so the brushes burned out immediately, and the second pair... the damn thing would randomly speed up to max speed and burn the paint.
I'll be painting the van this spring with an air compressor and proper tools... PPG ShopLine black paint
@andrew0901280 That's what I plan on now... this time I have more money and access to an air compressor, so I'll be sanding all the old paint off, priming it, and using the single-stage ShopLine black auto paint.
well I'm finnaly trying it for my self. unfortuanatly the body work I think is costing more than the acctual paint job. I'm not sure but I think I'm up to around $200 O.o?
Nope. Running boards are in the trash, and I didn't have ground effects. If you mean the decals, no. I have red "Ram 2500 V8" badges on the doors, and I plan on painting a red gradient later
hey the sander/buffer thing they bought you seemed to help a lot! now you have so much left to do '7 maybe redo that spot on the back door. you've done well tho. keep up the good work! ~Kyle

dude just use single stage paint it looks just as nice as a base coat clear coat and it last just as long but its not even a third of the price.

Body work is expensive, yes... I'm redoing all this this Spring (I did this when I was unemployed) and a couple problems occured:
1) Mis-matched materials
2) Improper ratios (Wasn't measuring)
3) You can tell where I scraped off the old decals
4) Painted over damaged parts (At the last second, notice the dent in the front fender)
5) I want to do BC/CC instead of SS this time... that van is my project, and I want shiny :)
