@eric2181965 Babyface indeed did write this for Waiting to Exhale but he gave it to Gladys because he had written a similar song for the sountrack "Mary J's Not Gon Cry". This would have perfectly fit on the sndtrk and is a better song than Not Gon Cry, but the other one was more commercial I guess.

The beats per minute isn't quite up there for 'LIGHT ROCK'.

It's a sweet song but you slow your mind down when the general publics mind races too much to appreciate such music.

Kind of like that song SUPER WOMAN, It's just fast enough for light rock but not on the radio alot because the beats per minute are too slow.
