@row759 I admit she has a great voice. But it takes more then that sometimes. She needs to create her own image. She needs to focus less on the way she looks and more on her music. Her and her fans need to learn to share these awards. Because if the same person should be winning then it would be Loretta Lynn. The first woman of country music. There is room for different kinds of woman in country. Miranda is talented. She deserves to be rewarded for her had work.

Miranda doesn't sell herself out for more mass appeal. She wants to be known in COUNTRY music. She refuses to be part of any other genre. @cgandjr , I know Miranda pay her dues. And Miranda said that Carrie didn't have to do, because American Idol, which Miranda knows is hard route to do it. My problem, isn't with Miranda as much as with CMAs and ACMs and not put Carrie in the category to make easier on Miranda. Miranda said this about Carrie, she is a better vocalist. As she said at the CMA awards, Miranda was expecting Carrie to win.

@row759 I don't recall Miranda ever saying that. Miranda did say Carrie had an amazing voice (which she does). Plus by taking Carrie out of the category won't make it easier for Miranda, more for Taylor Swift. I personnaly prefer Miranda's voice over Carries so it's all a matter of preference. Miranda deserves to be nominated in the category whether she wins or not.

@row759 Plus, Miranda and her fans don't care much for the Entertainer of the Year award. We care more for Album of the Year since Miranda's writing abilities are flawless and her album was amazing. And she won Album of the Year last year so we are happy. These other awards are just a bonus. Carrie has won many awards, I'm sure she doesn't mind sharing some with other talented people. Carrie even said that Miranda deserves WAY more awards then she gets because she is a REAL country artist.

When Miranda and Carrie are in the same category for EOTY of the year, Carrie wins. i was steaming when taylor won this award. and when she beat carrie for the female country vocal GRAMMY, as well.

these are VOCAL categories, not "who had the biggest selling album of the year" categories. hopefully taylor's done receiving her undeserved pity awards because of kanye. i swear, that incident was the best thing that happened to taylor's career or she would still be gettin' nowhere.

I was LIVID when Taylor won this award instead of Carrie. You cannot even compare their voices, Carrie is 54937589454 times better. The award was for female VOCALIST..if it was based solely on vocals, like it's supposed be, it deserved to go to Carrie again. Not someone who sounds decent on an album but sounds terrible live. I expected Carrie to win Female Vocalist because of her awesome vocals and didnt expect Swift whose vocals are not match to Carrie, to win it. Swift probably won it because of radio over-playing her songs, K. West incident popularity, and JB breakup popularity. Carrie by far has the better vocals.
