Always enjoy hearing the sound of a Leslie A-200 "Honker" horn on an EMD E or F unit. Classic scene. Although money is tight, hopefully the museum will eventually be financially able to repair the severe rust on the Milwaukee Road F-unit.

this place is awesome the only thing is when we go i always manage to go on the trolley car days and they needed to make it so that you go in a bigger circle instead of down the one track and then reverse down to the station

I have been to the IRM several times and absolutely love it there! They have to drag me out of there at closing time! LOL!
Anyone who loves trains has to go there at once in their life. Great place and LOTS of "live" equipment too! So many trains...so little time...
Thank you for putting this up. Brought back a lot of good memories.
