That's an awesome caliber for that platform. I've shot the .40 mp5 but 10mm would be very effective. I'm surprised they don't make the 10mm the standard. Maybe because of the easy availability of the 9mm.

@TooIsOfTheTrade The MP5/10 uses a 30-round straight magazine. Unlike the UMP, you get longer effective range with the MP5/10 and more ammo capacity compared to the UMP's 25 rounds. Makes you wonder why the MP5/10 went out of style since it was a superb platform for the 10mm Auto cartridge.

10mm has more power than a .357 and .45 acp its a bigger bullet traveling as fast as a 9mm so around 1250 fps with just 155 gr.

The mp5 10mm is my dream submachine gun. Is the owner a cop, fed or class 3? That gun you shot was probably a .40 right? I have read that the 10s were only made for the FBI and they look just the same. I was wondering if the FBI even uses them anymore. I figure it's only a matter of time until they get the saw, just like most of our country's M14s.

I like this gun, first saw it in Rainbow Six 3: Raven Shield in 2003 pc game. It's like an mp5 with a little more kick to it, what is not to like ? Damn i really got to get a gun liscence.. Shame we don't get that even after serving in our defence forces.. :D

you shouldnt take the ACOG-scope its pretty sick I prefer the holographic sight with ninja pro probably and lightweight so you can rush through the map and kill someone withe knife

i have a hk mp5 with 2 30rnd mags. it has semi and 3rnd burst and is 10mm also. mine has the 16 1/4" barrel so its not a pistol, some states do not like the 8 " barrel it comes with. it is for sale. $4500, and is in like new condition. if you choose to make it a pistol again it can be done but at your discretion for it may not be legal in your area

And its either the 40 or the 10mm, but from the vid I can't tell either. I have held the 40 cal. Its very nice. The RI State police bought 8 of em a year or so back. There a beautiful piece of firearm. Nice Vid man. And TD84 Mp5's in a full auto flavor cost $200 to the ATF, you be 21 years old, and the gun is about $3800. If you can get it.
