And influences current day conspiricies, such as the H1N1 vaccine and the rest of the Illuminati/MJ12
And notice how much story they had for Dues Ex 2? Why did it suddly go down hill. I mean, how many times was the word Illunati mentioned in Dues Ex 1 compared to Dues Ex 2?
The Deus Ex 2 story was much more shallow because most people don't have the slightest idea of international politics and the influence of a few people with a huge money supply behind their backs.
If we hit 2050 I doubt our world will be much difficult. New wars which only have economical reasons will be fought under the cover of terrorism. Everyone will be under surveylance to a certain degree and free speech will become a very rare thing or just an illusion.
BEST GAME EVER! First time I played this and saw simmons kill these prisoners I just started running, I was scared and not like in normal videogames, I was REALLY scared. Same thing at the end when I found out that the Illuminati were fucking with me... Although I didn't get scared then, but just got the uncontrollable urge to kill those fuckers!
Look in the background cities of NYC. There are no signs of the towers. Before 9/11 people asked why the towers weren't present. The makers said it was hardware limitations, but story-wise said it was destroyed by terrorists. There is still the SoCal earthquake and India-Pakistan nuclear war to happen though.
Well the Twin Tower skyline is in the game's datafiles. Just it's not used. But I have to agree that yes history is following a very similar example to Deus Ex

Damn awesome game, one of my all-time faves.
I've played both PS2 and PC, completing it many times on PS2 before playing it on PC. Personally I think the only real difference between them is personal preference. They both have different HUDS and interfaces, and PS2 has better graphics albeit load times. It's just what you're used to, really. I prefer PS2 version, just because the crappy PC graphics make me burst out laughing every time...
Cool conversation, but is it just me or do those new conversation motions (in the PS2 version) seem really awkward. In the PC version, they were a lot more subtle and believable.
I loved going in to this room, talking to the soldiers before simons, and then killing them before he could come in and question them. Put on your Godmode, and go on a killing spree inside UNATCO; it's a blast! And when you come back again; really fuck with the two MIB's; that's a hoot too!
Simons: I'm sick and tired of these motherf*cking prisoners in this motherf*cking cell.

You think AIDS, H1N1 etc are diseases naturally developed? Think again. The Grey Death wasn´t.

Also.
Ask yourself how much influence you have on your goverment?
Democracy is merely an illusion even now. If you vote for someone else it just changes who will get bought by certain parts of the industry.

@Morgius87 yeah.. the things that is going on with wikileak confirms this..

They keep terrorists locked up not to keep them from harming others, but to keep Walton Simons from killing them.

Holy Shit!!! Pause it at 1:01 and read what it says. This is actually happening in real life! but, why do they have this type of data in a videogame?
Re3volution 2 years ago
Yeah, it's a conspiracy game. Notice how almost everything in that game has come true. From the Twin Towers to this.

Where in the game do they mention the twin towers?

Sick.. I haven't noticed that they aren't here before.. Where has it been fortold of a SoCal earthquake and an India-Pakistan nuclear war?
Mattarfakkar 2 years ago
It's in newspapers found throughout the game. Look up Deus Ex timeline on Google for the exact date.
ZetaMan117 2 years ago
I haven't been bothered to read the newspapers and books in the game. Will do next time i play it though.
Mattarfakkar 2 years ago
you are saying about Deus Ex invisible war or the first part? or both? cause i didnt play, and just wondering
TheLegacyofKain 2 years ago
The first one.
ZetaMan117 2 years ago
@TheLegacyofKain Deus ex 1 is the second of the story line; 2 is the third line; 3 is the first -- a much earlier period than 1.

@ZetaMan117 I don't recall. Tell me what mission and i will check.

I Would Love To See What Walton Simons Looks Like In The Plastation 2 Version Of Deus Ex. Could You Do A Video? Thanks caly11

What a shame.

try walking in there as walton simons walks in there. You can talk to the "terrorists" and get more of the story. Or you can also kill them.

Crap. I gotta try that. Thanks man.
