  • Beautiful. I love the fast painting sequence in particular.

  • Hi again Phil!

In this video, I'll keep it plain and simple: I found it really ehr kinda strange but at the same time good that you only see the artists hands first, which can give u kind of a look at the person but then, not really. You only have a little information, and you go in the video without already having an opinion!

Also the music choice I found very good, not too slow, not too fast :)

  • @izzassin Both you and Creepycrawlything have picked up on seeing little of the artist at first, although there is a head-and-shoulders shot around 2:24 (before the painting sequence) of Luisa. This was an unconscious thing on my part – in fact the editing was rather an organic thing and I knew it worked even if I didn't know why. I know Paul of Tracing Arcs, by the way, and there will be more of their music in some of my upcoming videos. Many thanks, Iza!

  • @IvyCottageIndustries Oh yes, Phil, but at 2:25 you only see the side, and it could be anyone, you know?

  • When you then nakedly exposed Luisa, her beaurty was as you promised. I loved the way you swam around in this exposure. Nice structure. Well delivered.

  • @creepycrawlything She is beautiful, isn't she!

  • I liked the pacing of the video. From very early on I wanted to see the "prettyness" of Luisa. Somehow that was implicit in the flow of the early part of the video. It was the world and the artefacts of art that were being focused on (as notes as it were), and tantilisingly hands and parts of the person; but all along you knew that the melody was about the beauty of the person. And then you worry, because perhaps when you see more, the sense of beauty will lesson. But not the case here.

  • This is such a treat to see Luisa...loved it and being a great fan of Turner - you did him proud. Hope all goes well this week and hope to be able to pop into see you. xxxxxxxx Kirsty
