I do not think that Paul loves Laura. I am not sure what his emotional attachment is to this woman. I find no redeeming qualities about her. Yes, she is pretty, and young. So are millions of women. I understand that she has experienced trauma and displays Axis II tendencies, but she has no endearing qualities. She is my least favorite character and I cannot believe that they had Dr. Weston fall "in love" with such a train wreck. Just my opinion.
