yeah I am exactly the same as Tony too. I am constantly referencing movies and unfortunately the only ones who get the references are my brother, mother and father because they are the only ones who watch as many movies as me. My friends never know what the hell I'm talking about.
I am trying to find my kindred spirit for movies - someone who has seen the same movies as me and who likes movies the same way I do.
I'm way too much like Tony. I reference movies almost as much as he does, and I can pretty much tell you two actors for every movie title you throw at me with a few exceptions. Which is unnerving, coming from a girl as young as myself. But I digress.
@TheGhostMuse how old are you (just out of curiosity)? if you don't mind saying over the internet that is. you could just say like whether you're in uni or high school or primary school or whatever if you want.
Do I get points for knowing and watching some of the movies/tv shows Tony quotes? "The Court Jester" is a fav of mine and was quoting it with him. His Sean Connery double-oh-seven impression is REALLY good. I'm still wondering if he'll do a quote from "Simon and Simon". I mean he's done SOOOO many references and quotes, even "Hogan's Heroes" like two times (had to say I loved that too).
I was so psyched when Tony recited "poison pellet" bit. I memorized that bit! In case you were wondering, the full gag is, "The vessel with the pessel has the pellet with the poison and the chalice with the palace has the brew that is true, but they broke the chalice with the palace. Now they have a flagon with a dragon. Now, the flagon with the dragon has the pellet with the poison and the vessel with the pessel has the brew that is true." Confusing, ain't it?
Where does the man find time to keep up to snuff on the movie trivia? Gibbs works the team like dogs, Tony gets all sorts of special assignments from the higher ups, goes out to frat parties, dates half the women in VA. There just can't be enough time in the day for him to watch the hundreds of movies he keeps quoting! It boggles the mind!
Hahaha this is so hilarious! x) I love how he's so passionate about movies... He's seen like every movie that's ever been shot!! (Wonder where he takes the time working like 18 hours a day?)
Those do sound like they're the same. I guess it's not really me -- I've heard referrence in the show to Tony's "bad impressions", I don't know if they're really supposed to be bad per the script, or if Michael Weatherly is just bad at impressions! ;-)
Am I the only one still waiting for him to make some joke about Hocus Pocus simply for the irony? I mean, they've done the whole Ducky/Illya Kuryakin thing. I don't know...
P.S. Sean Murray [McGee] played Thackery Binx in Hocus Pocus, if you're wondering what the heck I'm talking about.
They've also done a Tony/Jessica Alba one. In one episode he says something along the lines of "You have about as much chance at that as I do at getting a date with Jessica Alba" lol
Or "Hearts of the West" Sean Murray was in that tv show and Mark Harmon guest stared in the second episode as an alcoholic rodeo clown/ ex- bronc buster
I would love to see a NCIS/PSYCH crossover, though.
Tony and Shawn could lobby Movie references and 80's references back and forth all day. I think the comedic timing dna style would match up well, making for one funny episode...or two.
If Tony's a "bit" of a movie buff, then I'm just a "bit" of an NCIS fan. Please! Ziva took a film class and he said he could teach her class! Why do you think the director chose film instructor as his cover?
i believe simpson caused he said "nick and jessica broke up" and as far as i know jessica alba never dated anyone named nick..... at least not publicly
hey can you please post the scene of the 4th season when Mister Mark Harmon does the froggy noise please he is so irresistible ( as always ^^) but this scene so lovely!
I don't know who at CBS is making these videos (check out Love Taps), but I hope they keep doing it. Now if they would only advertise the series as well!
Did not know Mcgee was Binx! That's for the trivia.

Tony's obsession with movies is so funny.
I'm not a big movie buff. Can anyone tell me what ACTOR/CHARACTER/MOVIE he's doing at these scenes:
0:18
0:35
1:00
1:03
McTony0 2 years ago
0:18 is John Wayne, legendary Western star; I think 0:35 as well, though I'm not entirely sure.

you're right, from Sands of Iwo Jima
c3wichman 2 years ago
@McTony0
0:18 = John Wayne impersonation
0:35 = ditto
1:00 = some sort of gangster movie (not entirely sure what movie/actor he copying just that it is a ganster one.)
1:03= John Wayne again, I believe.
Let's go with Tony copies John Wayne a lot. Personally I like Gary Cooper better (kind of like Gibbs)
