Okay im sorry i love you. Every year in Australia we have Shotokan week, during with one week he train with Kancho, he introduces us to new idea's. Bunkai, training drills, blocks attacks and minor stuff to, changes in Kata. He also does Situational Defense, such as, "what if two men attack you and on the ground" ect, Nothing offical because not Everything is written, its a general thing many martial arts do this ! We dont need to show it in grading, its just in case it happens in RL

There are three phases to a fight. Standup/Striking , Clinching, and Groundfighting.

His standup/striking is Shotokan, his clinching is Sumo, and his Groundfighting is BJJ.

Why are you saying Shotokan sucks when his emphasis is on Standup, where he uses Shotokan, and not grappling? You make NO sense.  You keep saying shotokan sucks when it obviously doesnt and I actually like BJJ: its good 4 the GROUND.
