I think what textme665 is trying to say is that we ballerinas work so hard to get variations like this done and look absolutely flawless and beautiful. We train countless hours and work our butts off. I can see where a ballerina could be offended by this because it is someone making fun of our art, our passion. The Trocs as we fondly call them are excellent dancers. Besides that do you know how painful it is to dance onpoints, obviously not as then you'd have respect for any dancer who can do that as well as they do.

FYI the trocs have been responsible for bringing ballet to those people who'd never have thought of going to see one, and that is an achievement.

By the way I am a dancer/ performance artist and I really do respect the trocs.

They are after all what entertainment is all about, for the masses and not for bigotted intellectual snobs.

So just sit back and enjoy the spectacle and if not then don't watch it, so simple is it not! :-)
