also there is a philosophy that tamil & thelugu r the two major dravidian language which got splitted directly from the brahmi language.there is small research is going about the tamil mathematics and the astrology.
most importantaly it is very much clear that " the implication of the ancient sanskrit is very much less in dravidian language simultaneously the implication of dravidian language is very much high in present and ancient sanskrit...

I am a Telugu, and I love Telugu, but I wont be a moron and say Telugu is as old as or older than Tamil.! Ridiculous ! Nothing got "splitted " from any brahmi language. Tamil evolved from its own Unique roots(Old Tamil). Every other south Indian language is influenced by Tamil. Accept it. It is the root language.

I have a question here.if sanskrit is the better language thn tamil why its is not spoken still now (some minority r there still).
My philosophy is this, to keep the India united the powerfull peoples from nothern part of india( not from maharastra,jarkand,orissa,bengal.assam,manipur,mehalaya) they declared that sanskrit is the finest language and most most ancient language.. also to make it in very scientific manner still peoples are seeking the forigen archeologist to give ..
