@flagrant26 Police are looking for the murderer of Giselle. Lalo did not kill Giselle. But accidentally killed Vanina. Lalo think that nobody will believe Vanina's death was an accident. That's why he panics and runs.

To make matters worse, Lalo discussed with Giselle in front of witnesses the day she was killed. Lalo has a bad temper and shouted: "I will kill you" in the heat of the discussion. For all that is afraid.

I think she believes he is keeping secrets from her and that maybe if she listens she will hear him confide in Lalo, Besides how can she confront him, with no evidence. I mean he can easily explain away why he is in Lalo's room.
