@hyperswivel - sorry don't remember. They're out of Queenstown and did aeroplanes (not helicopters). The weather can be real unstable there and flights are always dependant on this. We couldn't fly out of Wanaka so called a tour operator in Queenstown and they said 'sure, be here in 1 hour' so it was definately a spur of the moment booking.
