I was part of an Australian Combat Team. I can remember quite vividly Christmas Eve 2006, it was a cold crisp evening at FOB Union III, Baghdad.

I had dinner at the DFAC, and the Kid sat 1 table away. He later played, but I had to go. I can still hear him playing quite loud, as we made our way back to our lines, and and I have that on video.

It was nice to see a musician supporting the troops, as many won't. Good on ya Kid!
