Thousands of years ago God asked Abraham to sacrifice his son. God stopped him but opened his eyes to the reality that God would give His son for our sins. I respect Muhammad, but he didn't die for my sins. He wasn't prophesied about that he would come and save his people. He didn't receive the wrath of God for one man, never mind every man that ever will live. He hasn't rose from the died and lives today interceding for us even now. Jesus loves Muhammad and died for his sins.

I believe Jesus is God, and died for my sins. One difference I would like to point out to all Muslims, and other people is that Jesus loves them, no matter who they are. It divided us from God, completely and utterly. We offered sacrifices to him to serve as a bridge to bridge the gap WE created through sinning when Eve took from the tree of life. God sent his son to die for us, and bridge that gap forever. It is not free. We offer ourselves to him to serve him.

I also believe Jesus is God (Colossians 1:3 &1:15-20, Matthew 8:5-13 & 8:23-27 &10:1, Mark 12:35-40 &14:35-36, Luke 4:31-37 & 6:1-5, John 1-14 & 5:16-18, Acts 9:5) While the Quran denies this (Q 5:117). My challenge is to first look at Jesus. Ask what was he teaching? What was he about? Who was He? . I did the same when I looked into Muhammed and his teachings and life. But in the end be respectful to each other, for we are given freewill by God to choose our own path in life

I and many other Christians hate and are appalled by some of the deeds committed in the name of Christ, whether it’s some of the horrific ways Christianity expanded with the British Empire (no freedom) or burning Catholics at the stake. I am appalled at the number of Christian missionaries who are killed or treated like outcasts in so many of these predominately Muslim countries. Why do no informed Muslims ever accept this problem? This ignorance and apparent existence of two Islams upsets me.

The number of Muslims living in the USA has increased at a steady rate from the early 19th century and it is only recently that a significant proportion of the population have seen another side to Islam due to a shock to society. GOD created Jesus to spread his message by his will only and his power only. without God Jesus and every other prophet from Adam to Muhammad would have been utterly powerless and useless. The Quran teaches in Sura 4.171 that Jesus the Messiah is Word of Allah. Jesus is more than just a messenger or a prophet of God. Jesus is the eternal Word through which all has been created. It is through the work of Jesus on earth that we may all have certain hope of our salvation.

I think it is appropriate question the basis for this person’s conclusions about religion 0:32 (unless we believe that Adam and Eve were created with a book). It seems to me that once someone bases all faith upon a book, then all that would be required to deceive him or her would be an impressive book; and all that would be required to wreck his or her faith would be to find a mistake in the book. I also believe Jesus is God (Colossians 1:3 &1:15-20, Matthew 8:5-13 & 8:23-27 &10:1, Mark 12:35-40 &14:35-36, Luke 4:31-37 & 6:1-5, John 1-14 & 5:16-18, Acts 9:5) While the Quran denies this (Q 5:117). My challenge is to first look at Jesus. Ask what was he teaching? What was he about? Who was He? . I did the same when I looked into Muhammed and his teachings and life. But in the end be respectful to each other, for we are given freewill by God to choose our own path in life

I'm glad this man found peace but I do not agree with him. The major difference between the two of us is our belief's about Jesus. I believe Christ died on the cross for my sins. (Matthew 27:32-56, Mark 15:21-40, Luke 23:26-49, John 19:17-37, 1 Corinthians 2:2 & 2:8 Galatians 3:1 &6:14, Hebrews 6:6, Acts 2:36, Flavius Josephus Antiquities of the Jews 18.3.3) While the Quran denies this (Q 4:157)

I and many other Christians hate and are appalled by some of the deeds committed in the name of Christ, whether it’s some of the horrific ways Christianity expanded with the British Empire (no freedom) or burning Catholics at the stake. I am appalled at the number of Christian missionaries who are killed or treated like outcasts in so many of these predominately Muslim countries. Why do no informed Muslims ever accept this problem? This ignorance and apparent existence of two Islams upsets me.

(5) can and normally does result in and it is truly shocking. Countries like Sudan, Saudi Arabia, Pakistan, etc. and generally where the Muslim population is above 50% are highly dangerous and full of hatred to any person promoting any other religion or belief system other than Islam. This dominion is simply WRONG, especially in the society that we live in. I am very surprised that so many Muslims here in the West are so ignorant of what goes on in these countries and do not take a stand.(Ctd)

Many western Muslims are very kind and loving people who are devoted to God more than many Christians. So to me it seems the nations sudden ‘interest’ in Islam and the Western Muslims’ hard work to present it positively reinforced each other. (2) With the ongoing coverage of Al Qaeda leading up to 9/11 a lot of people's perceptions of Islam were based upon Bin Laden’s character and ‘war against the West’ approach. This is because so much of the population of USA had no access to better information or felt no real need to research what Islam is for themselves. The number of Muslims living in the USA has increased at a steady rate from the early 19th century and it is only recently that a significant proportion of the population have seen another side to Islam due to a shock to society. Islam was oppressed quite strongly early on so Muslims were still in hiding prolonging ignorance about it. (Ctd)

@OM6666ful why are Christians taught seemingly to elevate Jesus above GOD. GOD created Jesus to spread his message by his will only and his power only. without God Jesus and every other prophet from Adam to Muhammad would have been utterly powerless and useless. Muslims regard Jesus as one of the great messengers of God but only God the almighty deserves worship. Over the past few years I've been hearing more and more stories like this. Priests nuns, preachers converting to Islam.

@8x4jdc I know Muslims love Jesus. There is a misunderstanding among Muslims that followers of Jesus worship Mary. That is not taught in the Bible. The Bible teaches that the Word became flesh. The Quran teaches in Sura 4.171 that Jesus the Messiah is Word of Allah. Jesus is more than just a messenger or a prophet of God. Jesus is the eternal Word through which all has been created. It is through the work of Jesus on earth that we may all have certain hope of our salvation.

The reason the Jewish religious leaders wanted to stone Jesus, is because Jesus, had just declared that He is "I AM" that is Jehovah, the eternal God of Ibraham.

Jesus says there will be many on that day that say Lord Lord, and He wil say depart from me I never knew you. JN1:1,1:14, 4:26, 8:24, 8:58, 13:9, ACTS20:28,COLOSSIANS 1:15-17,1TIM3:16 andMATT28:19baptizing them in the name of the Father,Son,and the HolySpirt.I can not overlook all this scripture plus so much more. @sofifox All prophets speak the word of ALLAH they have no choice. that's the only word they speak is God's spreading his message. You're just singling out one passage that's praising Jesus every prophet that is mentioned in the Qur'an is speaking the word of GOD. Muslims don't believe that. we know that Christians worship Jesus. Why Christians think Jesus has more power than God is beyond me. Without God Jesus and every prophet for that matter would be utterly powerless.
